    The UWC Trinidad and Tobago Selection Committee will contact and invite successful applicants to attend our Selection Day 2017 which takes place on March 11th 2017 at the NEW UWC-TT offices located at:

    15 Wainwright Street, St. Clair
    Port of Spain
    Trinidad, W.I.

    UWC-TT Selection Day 2017 will include Icebreaker and Team building activities and assessments as well as an essay writing component and individual interviews.

    The application deadline for "2017 UWC Trinidad and Tobago Scholarship Applications" has been extended until MARCH 3rd 2017. All applications must be completed by then in order to be considered for selection.

    The UWC Trinidad and Tobago application process is now open. We are looking for applicants between the ages of 16 & 17 (see eligibility requirements) who demonstrate potential to be leaders in global change. We are seeking dynamic, service driven young Trinbagonians who seek an international educational opportunity unlike no other. Self-sufficient students with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

    This 2 year international academic programme provides a great alternative to sixth form and allows students the opportunity to learn in an international, multicultural environment. Graduates receive the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

    The Board of United World Colleges Trinidad and Tobago (UWC-TT) wishes to announce the appointment of Mr. David Quesnel as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective July 20th 2016. 

    David, a UWC alumnus takes over from Mr. Gabriel Cumbermack who served as CEO of the National Committee over several years. The Board wishes to express its gratitude for Gabriel's dedication to the UWC Movement and especially for his conscientious work in advancing the interest of UWC and UWC-TT. 

    David attended Lester B. Pearson UWC of the Pacific on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, where he studied for 2 years. Having graduated in 2009 with his International Baccalaureate he returned to Trinidad where he later went on to become a Helicopter Pilot. 

    David has consistently showed his support for the UWC Movement and up until his election  to CEO demonstrated this through his volunteer work with UWC-TT. The Board welcomes David to his new role within UWC-TT and wishes him all the best.

    United World College Trinidad and Tobago, recently awarded scholarships to five (5) secondary school students to attend prestigious UWC Colleges around the globe. 

    These deserving students were selected after having scored highly in a rigorous and highly competitive selection process comprising of academic assessments, group activities and several rounds of interviews among other selection criteria.

    The exemplary students will be heading to 4 of the organisations' 16 schools around the world. They will be attending Colleges in North America; UWC-USA (aka Armand Hammer UWC of the American West), Asia; UWC Changshu China, Europe; UWC Robert Bosch and finally Central America; UWC Costa Rica.     Here these students will study the rigorous International Baccalaureate (IB) Program for two years (equivalent to Form 6 or Grades 11&12).

    The UWC Model delivers a challenging and transformational educational experience through their deliberate diversity, service orientation and experiential learning methods to name a few.
