United World College Trinidad and Tobago, recently awarded scholarships to five (5) secondary school students to attend prestigious UWC Colleges around the globe.
These deserving students were selected after having scored highly in a rigorous and highly competitive selection process comprising of academic assessments, group activities and several rounds of interviews among other selection criteria.
The exemplary students will be heading to 4 of the organisations' 16 schools around the world. They will be attending Colleges in North America; UWC-USA (aka Armand Hammer UWC of the American West), Asia; UWC Changshu China, Europe; UWC Robert Bosch and finally Central America; UWC Costa Rica. Here these students will study the rigorous International Baccalaureate (IB) Program for two years (equivalent to Form 6 or Grades 11&12).
